This past weekend we were in Phoenix, Arizona visiting our good friends Holly and Khai. Every time we visit we have lots of fun; we chill, take a dip in their pool, play with the boys (Mojo & Hustler), and eat until our hearts content. This visit was no different with one little exception. A little over two months ago Holly asked me to be her MOH (Maid of Honor); a responsibility I am beyond thrilled to take on. I want everything to be absolutely perfect and ensure the bride-to-be is under no stress. The wedding is in December so there is some time, but being in different states I was determined to have Holly select the bridesmaid dresses during my visit. I must point out that the wedding party Holly and Khai have selected is an amazing group of people. Everyone genuinely wants nothing but the best for them; I am forever grateful for having met such an incredible group of people. Along with three other bridesmaids we were on our way for a full day of dress shopping, however, we didn’t need a full day! In a little over two hours we found THE dress. I say “THE” dress because Holly was ok with us wearing different dresses; her main concern was that we all be comfortable. Leave it to Holly, the bride-to-be, to be concerned about us.
I LOVE my Holly! We have known each other for a little over 10 years and yes our friendship hasn’t always been perfect, but I can’t imagine not having her in my life. Holly has helped me grow, there is depth in our friendship; she is caring, full of positive energy, and has one of those carefree smiles you just can’t help but smile as well…
